This beautiful two to four -person bungalow is located on its own property in the Drenthe village of De Kiel. This bungalow is close to the woods, surrounded by all greenery and also a stone's throw from villages such as Borger, Orvelte, Westerbork and Schoonoord. There is a bus stop nearby, which puts you in Assen or Emmen in no time, in Emmen you will of course find the wonderful zoo 'Wildlands'. There are several museums in the area, including one focusing on historical Drenthe. De Kiel is centrally located in terms of locations with exhibitions on Vincent van Gogh (Assen, Nieuw-Amsterdam, Zweeloo and Hoogeveen). Do you like to cycle or walk? Then this location is perfect too: there are plenty of walking and cycling paths in the area. De Kiel is located on the Pieterpad. In short: this is the place to completely unwind, enjoy to the full and feel like you're really getting away from it all.

Surroundings
De Kiel in Drenthe is a small village located about two kilometres north of Schoonoord. It is surrounded by several forest reserves, making it a great base for cycling trips and walks. A nice attraction nearby is Harwi sculpture garden in Eeserveen. In the extensive gardens you can take a nice walk and enjoy the various ceramic sculptures. The Ellert and Brammert open-air museum in Schoonoord is highly recommended for children. Here you can discover everything about how people used to live in Drenthe. There is also a large playground and a petting zoo.
