Discover the most beautiful faces of the Amalfi Coast - The Amalfi Coast is always worth a journey, there is always something to see and to discover. Holiday flat Marina Blu is an ideal starting point to do just that!
"I could go on and on about Ravello, ... but that's enough, because you don't have to see too much or tell too much," wrote Ferdinand Gregorovius, who travelled to the Amalfi Coast back in 1853, in his book "Wanderjahre in Italien". We can only confirm his statement that there is no need to tell too much, because you simply have to see the Amalfi Coast in all its beauty and splendour in person.
However, we would vehemently disagree with the claim that you don't need to see too much! Ravello alone offers an abundance of venerable buildings, remarkable monuments and feudal villas with magnificent gardens! And then there are the other more or less famous towns such as Amalfi, Minori or Positano, which entice visitors with their historic centres, winding alleyways and breathtaking views...
Holiday flat surrounded by the scent of lemons
The pretty Marina Blu is located in the tranquil district of Castiglione di Ravello, on the ground floor of an apartment building with a total of 4 flats. The owner's family lives in one of them and the holiday flat La Panoramica is located in the other. Each flat has a separate entrance and a private outdoor area.
In the spacious living/dining room/kitchen you will find, among other things, a sofa that can sleep a third person, as well as a kitchenette. You have direct access to the terrace from this room and from the bedroom with double bed. There are also 2 bathrooms.
On the terrace, half of which is shaded by a small limonaia (lemon grove), you can enjoy the sun or simply the wonderful view of the azure blue sea and end the evening with a glass of red wine in your hand.
PARKING: You can park your car for a fee on the street (within the blue markings) above the flat. The fees are indicated on a sign.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The centre of Ravello is 3 km away and can be reached on foot via the stairway leading past the house. Following the steps downhill, you can also walk to the sandy beach of Marina di Castiglione, 1 km away. The nearest shops and the centre of Atrani are also 1 km away.
Hiking boots are a must for a holiday on the Amalfi Coast! The best way to discover the varied coastal and mountain landscape is on foot. One of the most beautiful mountain trails is the "Sentiero degli Dei" (Path of the Gods). Even Zeus is said to have walked along this path. No wonder! The narrow up-and-down climb is simply breathtaking.
A new spectacle opens up after every bend: The sea and sky outdo each other in the most beautiful and vibrant shades of blue, an old Saracen tower, once built to ward off pirates, sits enthroned on a rocky outcrop on the coastal strip, and in the distance you can see the famous Mediterranean island of Capri. The air is filled with the pleasant scent of wild thyme and the cicadas chirp in the sun. It couldn't be more beautiful in heaven!

"I could dwell on many other things concerning Ravello ... enough, though, because you needn't see too much nor recount too much." - words written down by Ferdinand Gregorovius, who travelled the Amalfi Coast as early as 1853, in his book "Years of Travel in Italy". His statement that you needn't recount too much, we agree with - you must have seen the Amalfi Coast in all its beauty and splendour by yourself.
We by no means agree with his statement that you needn't see too much! Just take Ravello, for example, with its abundance of historic buildings, remarkable monuments and noble villas with gorgeous gardens! Then there are other towns, some well known, some not so well known, such as Amalfi, Minori and Positano, with fascinating historic centres, winding alleys and breathtaking vistas...
ENVELOPED BY THE FRAGRANCE OF LEMONS
Lovely Marina Blu is located in the peaceful district of Castiglione di Ravello, on the ground floor of a multifamily residence with 4 flats, among the latter also holiday flat La Panoramica and the owners' residence. Each flat has a separate entrance and private outdoor area.

On the terrace, which is partly shaded by a small limonaia (lemon grove), you can relax in the sun, simply enjoy the wonderful view of the azure coloured sea, in the evening let the day fade away with a glass of red wine in hand.
Furnishing of the flat also includes TV, washing machine, fan, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and electric heater (extra charge for both in case of use).
