The house is located in a quiet area, close to the town center yet sufficiently distant to enjoy peace and tranquility. Just a few minutes’ walk away, the Étang de Thau is the largest saltwater lagoon in Languedoc.

Famous for its oysters and mussels, you can savor fresh seafood right on site at the typical oyster huts. You can enjoy the fine sandy beaches of Mèze that line the lagoon.

If you are a water sports enthusiast, the lagoon offers opportunities for sailing, paddleboarding, or kitesurfing, especially at the Fil d’Air kitesurfing and wing foil school. The center of Mèze is bustling with small restaurants and cafés where you can taste local specialties, such as moules brasucade, tielles from Sète, or dishes made with fresh fish.

The local markets, full of regional products, are perfect for shopping and preparing a feast at home. You can also visit nearby historical sites, such as the city of Sète, located just a few kilometers away, with its rich maritime heritage and numerous cultural festivals.
