Rose Cottage, a charming, semi-detached dwelling rests on an elevated site overlooking the pretty Victorian spa town of Strathpeffer, in the Scottish Highlands.
This well-presented and homely abode will suit a small family or a couple who will simply love its quiet and convenient location, whilst oozing character and charm.
At ground floor level, the spacious sitting room, where you can relax, socialise, and play board games, leads through to a well-equipped and homely kitchen/diner, a haven for preparing and enjoy meals from.
Make your way down the path and into the little sunroom, away from it, just you and a good book, or bask in the sunshine from the pet-friendly courtyard! The shower room and first single bedroom are also on the ground floor, two further cottage style bedrooms on the first floor.
Strathpeffer is a popular holiday venue due to its great central location, as from here, visitors can head west to the Isle of Skye and explore the fabulous west coast villages or perhaps head into Inverness and savour the delights of the city.
Alternatively, why not take a trip around famous Loch Ness with a visit to the world-famous Urquhart Castle and dolphin spotting at Rosemarkie Beach being a short drive away.
However staying closer to your highland cottage is also a great idea and a lovely woodland walk starts right on your doorstep.
For golfers, a course is just a short walk away and fishermen have excellent local opportunities too.

Rose Cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom, one single and one ground-floor single with family shower room. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a sitting room with electric fire and TV with Freeview and DVD player, selection of books, games, and DVDs, as well as a sunroom. Outside is a private, enclosed courtyard to the rear and roadside parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair and travel cot. Sorry, no smoking. Rose Cottage is in a perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of the Highlands. Note: First floor bedrooms have sloping ceilings.
