Stanley House is in the heart of the famous Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac.
It was once a corn chandlers & for many years after it was a bakery.
It was recently used in the final series of Doc Martin! The harbour & beach are a few seconds’ walk down Fore Street.
There are a number of family-friendly pubs & restaurants in Port Isaac & neighbouring Port Gaverne, all within walking distance.
A 3 night booking can be made if this is required - a small supplement fee is payable.
Many of those who come to stay in the village have to park in public car parks.
However, the benefits of staying at Stanley House is that there is space to pull up briefly on the road directly outside Stanley House (very useful for dropping off and picking up) and because there is a dedicated parking spot at the top of the village, next to Outlaw’s New Road restaurant (about 5 minutes’ walk from the house, up a fairly steep hill).
