The open-plan living space is the social hub of the lodge, equipped with a well-appointed kitchen and dining area. You can also relax on the sheltered sun decks, south and west-facing, surrounded by a private garden. The short walk to Cartmel enables you to enjoy the dog-friendly pubs with great food, real ales, and Live Music on the weekends. The village also boasts two Michelin star restaurants under the famous chef, Simon Rogan, and a third near by (Heft) in the village of High Newton. The rural horse racing course adds another dimension, with nine race meetings a year. The bustling towns of the Lake District; Kendal, Bowness on Windermere, Ambleside and Coniston are all within easy reach, and rich in tourist attractions. Expect all this and more at Bay Tree Lodge.
