Small paradise above the sea - Spend a relaxed time-out at Il Nido di Cupido (Cupid's Nest), a romantic refuge at picturesque Albori, one of the "borghi più belli d'Italia" (one of Italy's most beautiful villages).

Il Nido di Cupido is nestled in the lush green landscape of Monte Falerio, the local mountain of the picturesque mountain village of Albori with its intact medieval town centre and attractive location between the sea and the mountains.

Only natural materials such as natural stone and wood were used in the restoration of the house, which blends in perfectly with the unspoilt surroundings. The floors made of Vietri tiles, typical of the Amalfi Coast, and the antique terracotta also lend the interior of the house a feel-good southern Italian flair.

A FINE HOUSE
The house with approx. 50 m² of living space is entered via the front, partially covered terrace. The living/dining room is equipped with air conditioning and has a sofa bed for the 3rd person. The fully equipped kitchen with high-quality stone worktop offers access to a separate laundry room with washing machine. From the tastefully furnished double bedroom, which is also equipped with air conditioning, you can access the bathroom and the rear terrace. A radio and CD player are also available in Il Nido di Cupido.

The outdoor area consists of a small lawn and two furnished, partially covered terraces. Surrounded by lush greenery, this is a wonderful place to relax. On the roof terrace, you can enjoy balmy summer evenings with a glass of wine and the magical atmosphere at sunset.

PARKING: You can park your car along the road outside the village centre. On request and only after prior booking, a reserved parking space may be available for a fee.

FURTHER INFORMATION & TIPS FOR TRIPS
Il Nido di Cupido is surrounded by greenery, yet only 500 metres from Albori's "piazzetta" with the church of Santa Margherita. The bruschetteria "PUB ALBORI" is just 300 metres away and an agriturismo is around 500 metres away. Grocery shops are around 800 m away in neighbouring Raito.

Il Nido di Cupido is around 3 km from the nearest sandy beach, which can also be reached on foot via a stairway. For the return journey, we recommend using the well-developed public transport network. Please note that the last bus to Albori leaves at around 8 pm.

TIPS FOR EXCURSIONS - Hiking enthusiasts can set off directly from Il Nido di Cupido in the direction of the "Cesare" spring, which rises from Monte Falerio and is part of the "Parco Croce" oasis. This was given to the WWF organisation by the daughter of the famous philosopher Benedetto Croce to protect the region. One part of the park consists of Mediterranean forest, another of the typical terraces of the Costiera amalfitana.

You can also visit Vietri sul Mare, 4 kilometres away, which is famous for its ceramics factories. Stroll through the alleyways and marvel at the colourful, hand-painted tiles that adorn almost every house on the Amalfitana.
After around 22 kilometres, you will reach the historic town of Amalfi, once a great naval power and the namesake of the coast. A visit to the majestic cathedral of Amalfi is a must for lovers of culture and history.

The solely natural material, such as wood and natural stone, used for the renovation of the house harmonises perfectly with the untouched environs. Inside, the Vietri tile floors so typical for the Amalfi Coast and antique terracotta make for southern Italian feel-good atmosphere.

A LOVELY HOLIDAY HOME
You enter Il Nido di Cupido via the partly roofed front terrace. The approx. 50 m² of living space include: a living-dining room with sofa bed (3rd person); a kitchen (incl. 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer) with high-quality stone worktop and access of a washroom with washing machine; a tastefully furnished bedroom (double bed) with en suite bathroom (shower cabin/WC/bidet/hair dryer) and access of the rear terrace.
The holiday home also features air-conditioning with heating device (extra charge in case of use) in the living-dining room and the bedroom, fireplace, TV, radio and CD player.

The outdoor area, where you will find a barbecue and an outdoor shower at your disposal, includes a small lawn and two furnished, partly roofed terraces. It is a wonderful place where you can relax in the midst of lush greenery. The roof terrace might be the spot you choose to enjoy mild summer evenings, a glass of wine and the charming atmosphere at sunset.

PARKING: You can park your car along the road outside the town centre. Upon request and prior reservation only a reserved parking space might be available for an extra charge.

Il Nido di Cupido lies in the midst of greenery, but only 500 m from Albori's "piazzetta" with the church of Santa Margherita. Bruschetteria "PUB ALBORI" is approx. 300 m off, an Agriturismo approx. 500 m. Grocery stores are found at neighboring Raito (approx. 800 m).

From Il Nido di Cupido it is about 3 km to the nearest sandy beach, which you can also walk to along a stepped path. If you do so, we recommend using the well-organised means of public transport for your way back. Please note that the last bus to Albori runs around 8 pm.

TIPS FOR EXCURSIONS - A hiking tour you can start on directly from Il Nido di Cupido takes you to the "Cesare"-spring, which has its source in Monte Falerio and is part of the oasis "Parco Croce". In the park you will find both Mediterranean forest and the terraces typical for the Costiera Amalfitana.

Vietri sul Mare, only 4 km off and famous for its ceramics factories, is surely worth stopping by. Stroll through the alleys and marvel at all the colourful, hand-painted tiles; they adorn almost every house at the Amalfitana.
Amalfi (approx. 22 km) - a town rich in history, once a great maritime power, eponym of the coast. If you are interested in and love culture and history you simply must have a closer look at Amalfi's majestic cathedral.
