Welcome to Engvik on Rebbenesøya, where the vast ocean meets history! Here you will live right by the sea in a simple and rustic holiday apartment directly above the small local shop, in a fishing village that has been popular for over 75 years.

This is not luxury, but it is authentic.

The holiday apartment is on the 1st floor and offers a living area, kitchenette, bathroom, and two bedrooms.

The furnishings are simple but provide everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The bedrooms feature two bunk beds and one family bed (1.20 m wide + single bunk above).

Free Wi-Fi and TV with Norwegian and international channels.

Small terrace with sea view, barbecue, and garden furniture.

Access to a washing machine is also available if needed.

Thanks to low light pollution and the open sea to the north, you also have fantastic conditions for observing the Northern Lights during the winter months.

Rebbenesøya is a place without noise and with few people.

Little car traffic and no stress.

Several mountain lakes and hiking trails for those who want to be on land.

This is a place for those who appreciate an authentic environment, the smell of fish, old wooden piers, and genuine North Norwegian coastal culture.

Directly opposite the cottage is the old fishing pier – still in use, now equipped for anglers.

For rent: a 19-foot boat (Kværnø type) equipped with a 50/60 HP Yamaha outboard motor, GPS/chart plotter/fishfinder, and rod holders.

Please note: the boat can only be rented between 10.05 and 15.09.

A floating jetty provides easy access to the boat.

Covered filleting station with light and running water on site.

Storage space for fishing gear and a freezer for your catch.

Benches and tables for preparations and fishing chats.

World-class fishing grounds and Northern Lights! This is one of the richest fishing areas in Europe with large stocks of halibut, coalfish, cod, and redfish.

The car ferry sails to and from the island several times a day.
