Accommodation Description
Cozy holiday home near Morfjorden on the north coast of the island Austvågøya. From the house and terrace, you have a magnificent view of the fascinatingly beautiful fjord landscape! Beautiful area for mountain hikes and summit skiing in winter.

The holiday home was built in 1985 and renovated in 2015. The large terrace with garden furniture faces west and north, where the midnight sun can be seen on clear evenings in spring and summer.
Inside the house, there are 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed, the second with a bunk bed with 2 sleeping places.
There is also a daybed in the living room.
Free Wi-Fi and TV with some German channels are available in the house.
On-site, there is a shared wood-fired outdoor sauna with a wonderful view of the fjord landscape and sunset.
You will share this with two other rental units and can use it for a heating fee of NOK 500. Wonderful hiking terrain for the whole family, whether along the coast or in the mountains.
Along the southern fjord shore, you will also find dunes and an idyllic sandy beach.
There is also a large wetland area with rich birdlife.
In winter, summit hikes in the surrounding area are popular, where you can climb the mountain and ski down from the peaks to the sea. Further south lies the fishing village of Laukvik with the open sea offshore.
Here you can walk along the large pier that protects the harbor and enjoy the salty sea breeze.
Svolvær, the capital of Lofoten, is 43 km away.
It is a good starting point for car trips around Lofoten and Vesterålen via car ferry from Fiskebøl to Melbu.
Good fishing grounds in the sea: you can fish within the fjord or in the open sea area outside the fjord.
In addition to ordinary sea fish, there are salmon and sea trout here.
For rent: * a 16-foot boat with a 25 hp engine. * Fish finder, chart plotter, GPS, and rod holder are also available for rent.
