Description of the accommodation
Cozy holiday home in the fishing village of Mefjordvær on the island of Senja.
Offers a view of the nearby Mefjord! Beautiful hiking trails through magnificent coastal landscapes, as well as excellent fishing spots on site! The wooden house, originally built in 1924 near the shore, was renovated in 2015 and features, among other things, four bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy your breakfast there while breathing in the fresh sea breeze! Additionally, a filleting bench is available in the basement, along with storage space for fishing equipment.
The surrounding landscape is among the most impressive Norway's coast has to offer! High peaks and steep cliffs in close proximity to fjords and the sea create a fascinatingly beautiful nature that can be explored via hiking trails.
For example, hike up the smaller mountain Knuten right next to the fishing village.
From there, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the offshore coast and the open sea! Especially in the mild light of the midnight sun, it's an unforgettable sight! In winter, the colorful Northern Lights dance across the night sky, and even in storms and wind, nature here is a fascinatingly beautiful sight.
The high waves then crash against the pier that lies protectively in front of the small boat harbor.
In the neighboring community of Ersfjorden, you will find an attractive beach that also invites you on excursions.
There you will also find the Djeveltindene mountain range with its fascinating peaks that drop steeply to the coast.
Approximately 4 km to the nearest grocery store.

With its proximity to the open sea and the good fishing grounds there, Mefjord has been an active fishing village for many generations.
