Light and cosy holiday home with a view of the water! Situated in a quiet location just 200 metres from the fjord in the small community of Lyngen, surrounded by beautiful hiking terrain for the whole family. Here you can experience the midnight sun in summer and the Northern Lights in winter! Good fishing area on site! A boat with motor can be booked in advance for fishing trips. The traditional, spacious wooden house was last renovated in 2017 and is well equipped. On the ground floor there is a kitchen/living area for family life and a bedroom. There are four further bedrooms on the upper floor; three bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and the fourth with two single beds. The narrowest double bed is 120 cm wide. There is also a bathroom with shower/WC and pleasant underfloor heating as well as a smaller guest WC in the house. There is also a practical laundry room with shower cubicle. The living room has an Apple TV as well as free Wi-Fi and a wood-burning stove, which provides cosy warmth on cooler winter days. The holiday home is only 60 metres from the fjord and offers wonderful views of the coastal landscape from the kitchen, living room and terrace! A great vantage point for winter experiences with the Northern Lights dancing colourfully in the sky on clear nights. In summer, the midnight sun is a delightful sight. The natural site is child-friendly. Good sea fishing on site and about 12 kilometres from the Jægervassdraget fishing waters with salmon, sea trout and char. Fishing there is only possible with the purchase of a fishing licence. Boat for hire: *A 20-foot open boat (Gemi type) with 80 hp Honda outboard engine, depth sounder, chart plotter, GPS, rod holders, incl. life jackets. The boat, which can be hired in advance and paid for on site, is about 2.2 km from the holiday home and can ONLY BE HIRED FROM 01.05. TO 01.11.! Please book in advance! In the surrounding area there is a great hiking area in the mountains with marvellous viewpoints in both summer and winter. It is about 2 km to floodlit cross-country ski trails and 4.3 km to the ski area at Lyngseidet. Good starting point for day trips by bike or car through the Lyngen region.
