A part of the house is rented out as a holiday accommodation; the owner lives in the other part.

Just about 40 m from the house, a path leads through the forest up into the mountains, rewarding you with a wonderful view.

Destinations such as the old monastery of Selje from the 12th century, which can be reached in about 15 minutes by boat from Selje center, or several attractive white sandy beaches are within reach.

By car, you can reach destinations such as Vestkapp, the bird island Runde, or the cities of Ålesund and Geiranger.
