With a games room and a cinema, Hogbert’s Hideaway has it all, This custom designed truly unique holiday home was once the visitors centre for the Carlton Marshes Wildlife Trust.
As you can imagine the location is simply amazing with uninterrupted views of the Suffolk countryside.
With walking trails through the reserve to the banks of the broads it’s a wildlife lovers paradise.
The house has the added addition of a large patio area, its own cinema room with a 2.2 metre screen and a games room.
It is the ideal base for a family holiday or for friends to get together to relax and unwind.
Within a stones throw, the Carlton Marshes Centre offers a café, adventure playground and daily activities.
Within walking distance and accessible through the reserve there is fishing, sailing boat hire and lessons, paddle boarding and day boat available at Oulton Broad with numerous pubs and restaurants.
Only 3 miles away is the popular resort of Lowestoft, which offers traditional seaside entertainment.
Children will love Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, which is just a short drive away.
Just down the road is Africa Alive, or visit the lovely seaside resort of Southwold, famous for Adnams Brewery, the pier and summer theatre.
Dunwich Heath and Beach, RSPB Minsmere, Aldeburgh with its fishing boats and local seafood, and Snape Maltings Concert Hall are also easily accessible.

We had the best stay at Hogberts Hideaway. It was perfect for our family staycation! We stayed for a week and there were 6 adults, 3 kids and a baby.
