Nice area. Weather not good but found things to do despite rain . Mike, owner very welcoming . Cottage very clean with good standard of facilities. Our visit was to visit a friend not really a holiday . For those who enjoy rugged walking the area is very good and interesting historical venues to visit.

The cottage was lovely and well appointed. But as it was for two people it was a little over cater for on china and cutlery. The kitchen cupboards were a little disorganised and the wardrobe was difficult to use as it was full of items.

Delightful and cosy property right on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Breathtaking scenery everywhere you look. The host was so friendly and welcoming, we were made to feel right at home from the minute we arrived. Plenty to see and do within a reasonable radius, even a beautiful park a short walk down the road. A definite 10 out of 10 from us all including the dog 👍
