Ca. 1 km outside the fishing village of Marina di Pisciotta, Casa Menaica is situated amidst olive trees.
The most beautiful sea views can be enjoyed directly from your bedrooms in the morning. Ancient, large olive trees and the vast cobalt-blue sea define the landscape around the medieval Pisciotta.
Directly on the steep coast in an olive grove that slopes down to the sea, lies the hamlet of Acqua Bianca, consisting of a handful of houses, in Marina di Pisciotta. The bright, airy holiday home Casa Menaica blends harmoniously into the silvery-green olive landscape.
Due to the slight slope, you have a beautiful view of the sea and the Cilento coast, guarded by Saracen towers. The property, planted with olive trees and Mediterranean macchia, is partly bordered by dry stone walls. THE HOLIDAY HOME AND THE MENAICA The name of the house refers to the Menaica, the traditional method of anchovy fishing used by the fishermen of Pisciotta.
In the evening, you can often see the illuminated fishing boats lying offshore from the balcony, waiting for the anchovy shoals. On the ground floor of Casa Menaica, you will find the spacious living area with kitchen, approximately 35 m², and a small bathroom.
From the living room, you have access to the covered terrace with its distinctive round arches.
On the first floor are 2 bedrooms (double bed; two single beds) and another bathroom.
Both bedrooms have access to the large balcony, which spans the entire width of the house and offers an atmospheric sea view. You can park your car directly at the house. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The pretty beach of Marina di Pisciotta can be reached via a narrow footpath after approx. 800 m. The center of Marina di Pisciotta, with a grocery store, bar, and restaurants, is about 1.5 km away. TIP: A 1 km footpath or a 3 km road leads from Marina di Pisciotta to Pisciotta.

Casa Menaica was very conveniently located within walking distance of the sea at Marina di Pisciotta. We really enjoyed the charm of the marina which had excellent restaurants right by the sea, and a peaceful atmosphere.
