We would like to briefly introduce you to our vacation home.
Our approximately 100 sqm vacation house is cozily furnished and has 2 bedrooms upstairs (OG). One of them has a double bed (and a pull-out couch); we also have a travel cot for children if needed.
The other bedroom has a single bed. The living room, which invites cozy hours, is also located upstairs.
The upper floor is accessible via a (somewhat narrower) staircase.
The ground floor (EG) houses the spacious kitchen with a stove, oven, TV, and a small dishwasher.
Cutlery and dishes, towels, and cooking utensils are provided.
The modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity, toilet, washing machine, and dryer is also on the ground floor. We are glad you are interested in our vacation home.
Time here has stood still a bit ;-), at least in part, and tells a story... Retro-modern furnishings, but with a lot of coziness.
The original house dates back to the 19th century.
Originally a half-timbered house, it was "clad" in the 1970s. Only the sometimes lower ceiling height and door height hint at the original form.
The kitchen is still in "Gelsenkirchen Baroque" style, while the bathroom has been modernly renovated.
Grandma's teenage room from the 1950s, a modern couch next to a 1960s living room cabinet.
Somehow, every era is represented a little.
The vacation home is a great starting point for many activities and is particularly well-located for many excursions due to its convenient location (e.g., Koblenz 40 km, Limburg 25 km, the Rhine and Moselle rivers are also less than 1 hour away). But the Westerwald also has an incredible amount to offer.
Whether it's hiking along streams/lakes, climbing in the park, visiting wildlife parks, cycling, or shopping in Montabaur (lovely old town) or at the FOC Outlet.
But most importantly, it's a place to simply relax, switch off, and recharge your batteries.

Minimum stay is 3 nights. Oberahr is conveniently located (approx. 8 km) off the A3 motorway, exactly between Cologne and Frankfurt.
Take the Montabaur exit, then follow the B255 towards Rennerod, and take the Oberahr exit. Since we live in the house next door, we want to make it possible to welcome you. The accommodation is usually available from 3 PM. However, depending on availability, we can arrange a different time by email or phone.

Wat een ongelooflijke lieve mensen .Ze deden er werkelijk alles aan om je een fijne vakantie te laten beleven.
Het huisje was kraakhelder en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was inbegrepen bij de prijs
Handdoeken ,beddengoed , vaatwastabletten toiletpapier verzin het maar Deze goede service heb ik in al
