Strategically located near two incredible destinations: the historic city of Lincoln and the charming market town of Gainsborough, and just 3.6 miles is the small town of Kirton-in-Lindsey to pick up any essentials or head for a bite to eat at The George, or collect a takeaway. Surrounded by lush countryside views, this stylish and pet-friendly home is the perfect rural getaway for couples, families or friends looking for a tranquil escape. Step through the front door and into your new home away from home, where you will be greeted by the open-plan living space, complete with green sofas and a woodburning stove, perfect for cosying up on cooler evenings. Set the table for four and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal with your loved ones, utilising the fully equipped kitchen and much-needed dishwasher. After dinner, settle back into the sofas and get ready to watch your favourite films on the Smart TV. Completing the ground floor is a handy cloakroom and dining room/study should you need to catch up on some work during your stay. Upstairs, when you're ready to turn in for the night, two bedrooms provide a space to rest, with a king-size room and a flexible zip/link super-king-size which can be two singles. At 6 Hillside Cottages, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to attractions; take a peaceful stroll down to the Harlem Hill Lock, the perfect spot to witness the amazing views of the surrounding countryside or explore Doddington Hall and Gardens near Lincoln, from the house to the gardens, pick up supper from the exquisite farm shop or enjoy a game of padel, followed by a meal at the Grainstore café and restaurant. Lincoln itself is full of things to explore from the historic Cathedral and Castle located by the infamous steep hill, to lovely restaurants like the Jews House or The Cheese Society. Looking for an activity head to Jump trampoline park or gutterball bowling, or enjoy a film at the luxurious everyman cinema. For family fun and something a little more exotic, Messingham Zoo offers a fantastic range of exotic animals, birds and reptiles, or why not stop by Ashby Ville Nature Reserve for a walk through its lush ancient woodland, with plenty of wildlife to spot along the way, or Hall Farm Park with its many friendly animals. Interested in marine life, head across the Humber Bridge to The Deep in Hull an award winning aquarium. This semi-detached holiday home has two bedrooms, a super-king-size (zip/link can be twin on request) and a king-size with a Smart TV, along with a bathroom with freestanding bath, a cloakroom, an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove, and a study. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and for entertainment there are two Smart TVs and WiFi. Outside, there is off-road parking for up to three small cars, additional roadside parking, and front, side and rear gardens with lawns and a rear patio. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, this is a smoke-free property. A highchair is available on request. You can find a shop within 2.9 miles and a pub within 1 mile. Make memories with loved ones at 6 Hillside Cottages.
