The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite cloakroom and a twin, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is a wrap-around, decked veranda with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 0.5 miles and a pub in 1.2 miles. For a rural escape to Cumbria, book Swinside. Note: There are steps up to the lodge; please take care. Note: A fishing lake is nearby, which guests can benefit from with a permit.
