the tranquillity of the whole place and the hosts were very welcoming
We had an awful job to find the place-we drove around for an hour looking. There is not really adequate signage to the cottage, which we mentioned to the owners. However we learnt that they have had trouble in the past with people using their drive for undesirable reasons so could understand the signage issue.

Fabulous cottage with a great outlook. Beehive pub which is very nice is within walking distance (15 mins) across the fields. Whitley Bay and Blyth are within a 10 minute drive and Tynemouth a further 5 minutes and all are lovely. Our cottage hosts couldn't have been nicer.
