Casa do Pombal is a restored rural house in a tranquil rural setting and is ideal for families and groups of up to eight people.
The property includes a traditional Madeiran house with stone walls, a swimming pool, veranda, terrace, garden, portable barbecue, parking and other facilities.
The pool is private and exclusively for guests of the house.
The house is 156 m2 and comprises four bedrooms, four bathrooms, living room and kitchen.
It is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, cooker, microwave and other utensils, plus bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children's channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The property is in a rural area close to the village of Calheta, where there is a beach and several restaurants and cafes.
Calheta is situated in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.
Just a few kilometres away there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and walkers.
Nearby it is possible to practice several outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.
There is a grocery store and cafés within a short walking distance. Supermarkets and restaurants are available within a few minutes' drive.
The property has easy access to major roads.
REMARKS

A car is recommended, but there are bus stops nearby. You can install the Rodoeste application for your smartphone with information about bus lines and timetables.
There is free parking on the property or on the street.
The pool is not heated but is open all year round and can be used whenever the weather conditions are favourable.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance clean, which includes changing bed linen and towels. To increase the frequency, an additional cleaning service should be requested.
As it is a rural area, there is potential for noise caused by dogs and other domestic animals in neighbouring properties. There are also insects in the vicinity which may be attracted by food leftovers.
The accommodation is officially registered, meets the requirements to ensure safety and comfort, and has a complaints book checked by the relevant authorities.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties and behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not permitted, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, time of arrival and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days prior to arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available through a key safe whose code is created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, scheduling is required and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present an identification document upon arrival and to provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. The number of guests must be informed in the reservation and can be changed up to the limit of the accommodation capacity with a price surcharge. From 2 guests onwards, the price increases up to 10% per guest.
