Its narrow streets (where you'll find the cottage) allow the unique character of this quiet fishing village to live on.
The fishermen are still here, hauling in their catch at the end of the day.
You too can go fishing on one of the deep-sea angling trips that are available from the quay or short mackerel fishing trips in the bay. *FOOD* Enjoy a famous Cornish pasty, many outlets sell them in the village, but Mary's on the harbour are superb! Apart from the many pubs & restaurants, Mevagissey also has numerous great street food Fish kiosks on the harbour.

Fantastic little cottage within a two minute walk to the shops, pubs, restaurants and harbour.
Visited really early in the year (March 2nd) so am sure the odd coat of paint here and there will be on their radar before the season starts but this didn't have any negative effect on our stay at all.

We have been staying in Mevagissey and the area for over 30 years and have stayed in a fair few cottages. This one was booked as a last minute weekend to Meva. Clean, clutter free, cottage. Quiet part of Meva but really close to the centre. Comfortable sofa and beds.
We would stay again.
A lovely place to visit and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a comfortable stay, the cottage is in a central location and loved the village shops, eating places and going on coastal walks.
The cleaner left the mop soaking wet with bleach which was left on the kitchen floor. We got wet socks as a result which ruined them with bleach.
