Resting centrally in the quaint village of Tremadog, Gwynedd, is Bodlondeb, a fabulous three-storey dwelling set in a Grade II listed building with over 200 years of history.
Just a stone's throw away from a host of local amenities, and a short journey from the shoreline of Porthmadog, the cottage welcomes four adults, four children, and one furry friend, offering flexible sleeping arrangements, characterful living areas, and a prime location, nearby Snowdonia National Park.
Pull up on the roadside before entering the stone-fronted abode, firstly reaching the inviting living room, dotted with plush seating, a Smart TV, local artwork, and a lovely woodburning stove, enveloped by original stonework.
Venture into the kitchen/diner, where you can prepare meals with a range of state-of-the-art appliances, before gathering around the dining table, perfect for planning your itinerary.
If you'd prefer an alfresco affair, discover the rear multi-level patio area with dining space, before returning indoors for an indulgent bath in the sleek bathroom; upon the first floor you'll also locate a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite, and a further king-size, both well-presented with stylish accessories.
Climbing up to the second floor, be welcomed into the twin bedroom, with a feature panelled wall, a chalkboard, ideal for the children of your group, and a cloakroom, along with a snug double, with the convenience of a sofa and TV.
The cottage boasts a great location near amenities like pubs, a restaurant and a fish and chip shop that are all just paces away.
In the morning indulge in a fresh coffee whilst planning to either tour the coast or country, starting off in nearby Porthmadog, with the chance to visit the Maritime Museum, enjoy a round of golf at Porthmadog Golf Club, overlooking the shoreline, head to Black Rock Llamas for a trekking experience, or select between Morfa Bychan and Borth y Gest Beach for a stroll.
The charming Italian village of Portmerion is nearby, peppered with cafés, outdoor activities, and shops, ideal for exploring, before hiking across Traeth Glaslyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, or venturing further towards Harlech and its magnificent castle, acting as the gateway into the national park.
Finish off your getaway with a thrill-seeking afternoon at Zip World Llechwedd, tour the underground structure of Sygun Copper Mine, or discover Beddgelert Forest and grave, rich in history and nature.
Experience all of this at Bodlondeb.
