Welcome to Pitcairn House, a spacious and stylish Victorian town house spread over three floors.
Built with traditional Lakeland stone and just a couple of minutes from the bustling centre of Keswick, it’s perfect for couples, friends, and families, and if you’re looking for an excellent base for that family reunion or group gathering, look no further.
Pitcairn House is located in a quiet residential street, just off the town centre, there’s ample street parking and two off road parking spaces meaning you can leave the car behind and enjoy this popular market town on foot.
The ground floor is home to a modern kitchen with all the mod-cons, a spacious and grand dining room, perfect for a family feast after a day of adventure.
On the first floor there is a large comfortable living room with easy seating, stylish interior design and large windows which flood the space with plenty of natural daylight.
All seven bedrooms are equipped with a Smart TV and have beautiful views of the surrounding fells and the Keswick town.
The property was built in 1892 and has uneven floors throughout and many stairs within the property.
Keswick is full of narrow streets with independent shops and courtyards, and has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops, and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine.
This traditional market town is full of great things to discover.
If you like culture check out the Theatre by The Lake with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down.
For fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world.
If you want a wild day out, try The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 8 miles, or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tasting and tours, also 8 miles.
If you like walking, cycling, and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells, nearby you’ll find Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn to name a few.

The house has all the amenities needed for large groups and at the same time its very cosy. Beautiful house, excellent location.
All the suggested parking was taken so a few issues finding a space for all.

Brilliant house. Great accommodation for our large family. Owners were really helpful. Definitely recommend staying there. Ideal location for leaving the car and enjoying exploring and walks. A lot not buggy friendly but even hard ones we managed with a buggy! Thanks for a great stay. Loved the welcoming gifts of Prosecco and biscuits.

Awesome for our group, to be so central & within walking distance to a lot of attractions. The house is spacious & plenty of bathrooms provided. The host left some icypoles for the kids in the hot weather we were lucky to have, quite thoughtful!
