The sitting room is truly inviting with ample seating and a feature inglenook fireplace creating a beautifully rustic focal point to the room and adding to the welcoming ambience.
Also included in the attractive space is an elegant dining area which is all set up ready for guests to indulge in long, lazy meals together and the small but stylish kitchen has all that is needed to produce meals for the holiday party.
There are two beautifully-appointed bedrooms with the first-floor double bedroom boasting beautiful picture windows creating a relaxing, cottagey vibe to the room and the attic bedroom boasting feature exposed ceiling beams which again help to add to the rustic feel.
Both bedrooms offer a relaxing sanctuary ideal for resting your weary heads after a tiring day of exploring.
Within walking distance of Sandpiper are the amenities of Alnmouth which include shops, eateries, a golf course and miles of sandy beaches.
Jump in the car for visits to the scenic town of Alnwick, famous for its castle and gardens, or drive a little further to attractions such as Hadrian’s Wall, Howick Hall and Gardens, Dunstanburgh Castle and Northumberland Country Zoo.
Take a boat trip over to the Farne Islands where you might catch sight of an unusual bird or seal.
If you love wildlife, then you’ve come to the right place with RSPB reserves at Annstead Dunes and Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre.
Activities worth having a go at while you’re here include golf at Alnmouth Golf Club, horse-riding at Slate Hall Riding Centre, surfing at Bamburgh Castle Beach and sailing at Beadnell Sailing Club.

Sandpiper is a beautiful stone built terraced cottage in the heart of the coastal village of Alnmouth. The property has undergone a complete refurbishment and offers guests excellent accommodation using quality fixtures and stylish furnishings. All the village amenities are on the doorstep, shops, pubs, restaurants, sandy beach and the golf course.

GROUND FLOOR
Entrance hall.
Lounge/dining room with comfy seating, large inglenook fireplace with gas real flame fire, TV and dining table with chairs and bench seating.
Kitchen (small but perfectly formed) with electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave.
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe and feature fireplace.
Family bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin. Washer/dryer in cupboard.
SECOND FLOOR
Bedroom 2 with double bed.
OTHER FACILITIES
Parking nearby. Gas central heating. All power, linen and towels are included in the rent. 1 small dog welcome. Separate small outhouse building available for secure bike storage.
Note: The owner only accepts Fri - Fri bookings during peak season (will only accept Winter Short Breaks)

Central village location with beach, pubs and a couple of local shops all within a short walk.
Very pretty cottage that was comfortable and well appointed.
Tiny kitchen, although it was very well equipped. No outside space at all (which I knew). Backs onto a pub so some noise including from large bottle disposal.
