St Helens is a coastal village on the east side of the island, with a village pub and shop just a moment’s stroll away from Coed Faen.
There is a large village green that offers excellent views over the busy harbour of Bembridge, and is also home to the ruins of St Helens Church which was destroyed by a wave in the 18th century.
A lovely beach is not far away either, making this location lots of fun for the kids and adults alike.
Despite being a small village St Helens has some great places to eat.
There are a couple of popular restaurants and cafés, one of which sits beach-side down at the Duver.
The Isle of Wight has lots to offer.
Outdoor pursuits on the island are well catered for and include horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, water sports and golf.
There are numerous attractions for all ages across the island including The Needles with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay.
You can also visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, as well as Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes.
Among all of these activities, you’ll find Coed Faen.
Boasting an open plan living and dining room with plenty of space for much needed quality time, a well equipped kitchen ready for you to rustle up a homely meal, and two kingsize bedrooms and a twin bedroom where you’ll be sure to get an easy night rest after a day exploring the island.
A wonderful base to rejuvenate, refresh and plan the days ahead.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Coed Faen. The house was in a good location to travel to different parts of the Island. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. There were 5 of us and we didn't feel overcrowded. We have already booked for next year!!

A lovely property in a perfectly, quiet location. Although the overall stay was amazing and highly recommended, we didn’t find comfort with the beds, as the pillows are overused and very flat, so definitely need updating. I also found the shower head had to be deep cleaned, as it seemed to be thick with hard water, as if in a high lime scale area. Apart from that, worth every penny!
