The Old Chapel, as the name suggests, has an ecclesiastic history, this is reflected in the seamless blend of olde worlde charm and contemporary chic. The property sits in an adorable country setting with Bowness and the shores of Lake Windermere just a 10 minute drive away and there’s an excellent country pub within easy walking distance - so you get seclusion without compromising on access to amenities.
Great for couples or families, the chapel sleeps four guests over two delightful bedrooms, one of which features a Victorian corner bath - the bedrooms are on separate floors for added privacy. In addition, there’s a lovely first floor lounge giving elevated views of the surrounding countryside. The picture is completed by a fabulous kitchen / dining room with a wood burning stove and French doors that lead out to a ‘secret’ garden with a furnished patio. The Old Chapel is the perfect place from which to fall in love with country living.
