The Stables is an enchanting Cotswold holiday cottage, with a wood fired hot tub, situated within the picturesque grounds of Camden Farm, near the historic market town of Faringdon and Lechlade-on-Thames. The cottage oozes charm and style with an excellent standard of fittings and furnishings throughout. With thick stone walls, flagstone flooring, wooden beams and wood-burning stove, the property is full of history and character. This dog friendly cottage is an ideal place to escape to with your family or friends for some peace and quiet away from your busy life!
This cottage can be booked alongside our other holiday properties onsite at Camden Farm which can accommodate further guests if required - Honey Cottage, Ivy Cottage & High Barn - ideal for a large family break or a group booking.
Accommodation
This three bedroom holiday home in Radcot, near Lechlade-on-Thames is the perfect dog friendly holiday home and ideally located to explore the surrounding countryside on foot. The accommodation is laid out as follows
Ground Floor

Spacious open-plan layout with kitchen island and three bar stools, range cooker with five ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster
In the middle of this beautiful space is a dining table seating six guests on benches, two arm chairs, a sideboard and bifold doors opening on to the garden

Cosy area with wood-burner, two two-seater sofas, two armchairs, console table and mirror

Washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, bench, clothes hooks an mirror

The cottage has its own dedicated enclosed outside space with outdoor seating, sun loungers, charcoal BBQ and a wood fired hot tub
Additional facilities
Camden Farm Barns comprises seven properties in total and boasts a large estate complete with football pitch and canopy covered open games space, great for rainy day activities including ping pong and table football. Being just a short walk from the river, during spring and summer guests can rent a paddle board or hire the ex-MOD truck, 'The Goose', which sits on the riverbank, great for a picnic or BBQ. From August 2025, a six-person infrared sauna with shower will be available (see Finer Details)
All of these facilities are offered on a complimentary basis, and are bookable upon arrival at Camden Farm Barns, subject to availability and weather conditions

The Stables is a spacious three bedroom converted Cotswold stone farm building, complete with stylish interiors, wood burning stove and the added luxury of a wood fired hot tub. Located in the grounds of Camden Farm, you are surrounded by countryside and a short walk from the river Thames so be sure to pack your wellies so you can explore!

We had an amazing time, such a wonderful property. Chosen because we needed three bedrooms with ensuite of equal standard. We went paddle board and used the hot tub which was amazing. \r\nThe pipes of the kitchen tap made a noise but didn’t really bother us too much.

Our group of 6 friends returned to this wonderful place having loved it so much last year. The facilities are fantastic en-suites in every bedroom, decor excellent throughout plenty of space with an outdoor dining area with a superb view and a hot tub. It’s highly recommended!
