Robert Sadler’s Studio is a stunningly restored former atelier of the late Abstract Expressionist artist Robert Sadler (1909-2001), who painted here for 35 years.
This charming Aldeburgh holiday property remains in the family and retains much of its original character, with selected works by Robert himself adorning the walls.
It’s a wonderful throwback to a bygone era – perfect for a coastal escape and exploring the nearby area.
Three well-appointed bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms offer comfortable accommodation for up to 5-6 people.
You’ll find a large south-facing garden, elevated sun terrace, airy upstairs living room and well-equipped kitchen/diner, which offer generous space for relaxing, dining, drinks, games and simply spending quality time.
In the cooler months, it’s a wonderfully cosy and snug retreat, yet with plenty to see and do locally.
The property also has the benefit of a games room annexe with a snooker table, sofa, playpen, barbecue and garden games, and comes with off-street parking for up to 4 cars.
With a great range of local shops, restaurants (including famous fish and chips), pubs, walks and even an independent cinema, Robert Sadler’s Studio is a haven for grown-ups, children and dogs alike – whatever the time of year!
