Tastefully combining period features with contemporary fixtures and fittings, Aldeburgh Cottage in Aldeburgh, Suffolk is the perfect holiday home for a family holiday.
Your holiday begins as soon as you step into the delightful sitting room which has feature wood flooring and an inviting open fire which welcomes visitors in and you can imagine curling up on the sofa here, pouring a glass of your favourite tipple and spending quality time together.
When tummies rumble, step into the stylish and rustic kitchen which has everything needed to produce wholesome food for the whole family and there is an elegant dining area all set up ready for long, lazy meals.
Should the weather allow it, then there is also a table and chairs outside in the courtyard, perfect for alfresco drinking and dining.
Make your way upstairs and you will find two well-appointed bedrooms, a double and a twin; both are beautifully presented and offer a welcoming sanctuary.
In the morning after a soak in the bath or a refreshing shower, you’re ready to explore the delights of Suffolk.
Aldeburgh is within a short walk and the beach is close by too, so why not pack a picnic and make a day of it? Jump in the car for days out to attractions a little further afield such as Snape Maltings, Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, Go Ape Thetford and Framlingham Castle.
Enjoy watersports anywhere along the coast or head inland for a bracing walk anywhere within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so you will be rewarded with some breath-taking views along the way.
If you like a tipple then check out some local brewery tours such as Adnams Brewery, the English Whiskey Company and Shawsgate Vineyard.
For an authentic cottage stay in the heart of vibrant Aldeburgh, a visit to Aldeburgh Cottage is a must.
