Great cottage. Well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of room. Very good having a parking space as parking is a problem in the town. Great location, 5 minute walk to the town and Derwent waters.. Only fault on arrival the toilet didnt seemed to have been cleaned adequately.

Loved our week at Hey Down. House was lovely and warm with super comfortable beds. Sofas a bit low and too soft for us but that just personal preference. In a central location in keswick and having a parking space was great. Over the road from the park which was great with the dog. Will definitely return again.

A well equipped cottage, the best we stayed in as it literally had everything we needed in the kitchen! Set perfectly for the park, grounds, town and lake. Could walk everywhere locally. Reserved parking spot opposite in the car park was great as there was never any road parking available. Enjoyed 2 fell hikes with the children and they enjoyed the boat tour of the lake and kayaking.
