Sitting within the very sought-after village of Castle Acre, which dates back to the Iceni period, the village is home to the famous Castle Gateway, Castle, and Priory, along with a beautiful village green and café, all easily accessible on foot from your accommodation.

Those who love to walk will find themselves amid the Peddars Way, a historical Roman pathway which links you to the coast and offers an array of natural sights and sounds.
The beautiful River Nar also flows along the outskirts of Castle Acre and is ideal for paddling in the hot weather, especially at the ford.
You can walk along one of the footpaths through the water meadows and near the ford to search for trout, while enjoying the idyllic scenery and wildlife.
