Perched on the outskirts of Chirk in Wrexham, North Wales, is this superb, three-bedroom stone-built cottage dating back to 1650c, Cae Iocyn.
Enjoying an isolated location with peaceful surroundings and beautiful country views, Cae Iocyn is a fabulous dwelling for a group or family of six and their four-legged friends to explore this delightful part of North Wales in their own rural retreat.
Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to whipping up flavourful culinary delights in the well-equipped kitchen, with the help of the electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and microwave, as well as a dishwasher for a fuss-free clean up! Gather around the dining table for six as you tuck-in to a tasty meal and make plans for the days ahead.
If the weather is nice, why not throw open the bi-fold doors and make dinner an alfresco affair out on the lovely picnic bench, giving your furry friends some time to stretch their legs in the large, enclosed garden or enjoy the hot tub.
As the evening cools, retreat to one of two sofas and snuggle up to watch your favourite film on the Smart TV in the warmth of the woodburning stove.
Climb the stairs to the first floor where you will discover three well-presented bedrooms, three doubles, all served by a contemporary bathroom with beautiful corner bath for long indulgent soaks, as well as a walk-in shower for those speedy rinses! Explore the local area, where you will find a fantastic selection of things to do right on your doorstep including the Chirk Trout Farm for the keen anglers in your party, leisurely walks along the River Ceiriog or for something more challenging the Start of Maelor Way and the 82-mile Offas Dyke footpath.
Just a short walk away is the stunning National Trust owned, Chirk Castle, which is 700 years old and offers glorious, manicured garden and suits of armour within its historic interior.
