Situated in the top half of Lincolnshire this is a superb touring base just 30 minutes from the east coast and just 25 minutes north of the city of Lincoln.
There is something for all the family in the area to enjoy with the antique centres and regular markets at Hemswell Cliff closeby, Gainsborough is just 12 miles away and the city of Lincoln famous for its cathedral, castle and vibrant Brayford Wharf area is just 25 minutes’ drive.
Also within half an hour is Market Rasen races, the Lincolnshire Wolds where you can explore the beautiful Wolds villages with many good tea rooms and pubs on route for refreshment.
Newark with its marina and show ground is just 45 minutes’ drive.
From the door there are many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area.

Overall Stonegarth is a very nice property in a very nice village. It is a very dog friendly property with a convenient enclosed garden. The only criticism is that some of the cooking utensils are in dire need of renewing as some of the crockery? Apart from this I would recommend Stonegarth for a nice relaxing getaway.

Lovely little cottage as long as you like being in the middle of nowhere just a pub in the village which doesnt serve food and only open certain times of the day.Also the lounge could do with an extra chair/sofa Also had a lovely enclosed garden so very pet friendly.

Lovely few days away. Great cottage perfect for what we wanted. The pub in the village is perfect for a pint or two. Cottage very clean and comfortable, garden perfect for the dog.
