Nestled in the historic village of Holme, opposite a gastro pub serving excellent food, The Hayloft sleeps two and can be hired alongside The Cow Shed (our ref: 1013322) and The Shearer's Hut (our ref. 1148316) allowing luxury accommodation for up to 6 people.
The surrounding area is popular with walkers, hikers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts, making this an ideal retreat for those wanting to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire and the Dark Peak. Located just outside of Holmfirth and the infamous Picturedrome music venue, The Hayloft is also an ideal location for exploring National Trust treasures such as Chatsworth House, Quarry Bank Mill and Lyme Park.
The property boasts underfloor heating throughout, keeping you cool in the summer and welcoming you with a cosy warmth during the colder months. The Hayloft is a Boutique style retreat, full of character with exposed beams and stunning far reaching views. The flame effect electric fire adds a warm and inviting ambience with a fabulous friendly pub just across the road there is no need to cook - but for convenience the Hayloft is equipped with a fridge, microwave oven and induction hob
The generously sized king-size double bedroom is served by an adjacent en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower.
Holme Village is ideal for walkers surrounded by hiking trails which are perfect for spotting a wide range of local wildlife.
Set amongst the reservoirs of Ramsden, Riding Wood, Bilberry and Digley there is a wealth of long and short walks right on your doorstep.
Using the car you can easily access the Hope Valley via the Woodhead Pass for walks that include Winnats Pass, Mam Tor and the Great Ridge.
Other must see attractions such as the Blue John Mines and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park are easily accessible and brilliant days out.
The cities of Leeds,Sheffield and Manchester are nearby and can be reached by local bus and train services. Two great pubs, serving fabulous food, are within walking distance of The Hayloft (one directly across the road).
