Stroll along the charming town high street and into a welcoming abode, kicking off your walking boots and snuggling up in front of the woodburning stove as the auburn flames warm you up, ideal for a frosty winter's night in front of the TV.
Let the chef of the group take charge of the cooking in the spacious kitchen/diner, a quaint room with fantastic amenities to suit all your dining needs, as well as a gorgeous wooden dining table where family meals can be enjoyed.
From here, access the enclosed garden, boasting a large verdant lawn up several steps from a lovely patio area with seating, a lovely location to tuck into alfresco dining on a warm day, or to sip on a hot mug of morning coffee.

Walkers who enjoy a challenge will love the wealth of rugged peaks, tall fells, and lush moorlands, hike, stroll or cycle up your choice of High Cup Nick, Hilton Fell, Mickle Fell, or Fendrith Hill.

October Cottage is a stone-built cottage resting in the centre of Middleton-in-Teesdale in County Durham. Hosting thee bedrooms with Smart TVs; a double, a twin and a single, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to five guests. Oil central heating and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. There are 4 x Smart TVs, in the lounge and each bedroom. Netflix, iplayer apps etc are available, guests would need their own account to log in and please do remember to log out before departure. Fast stable WiFi, fuel, power and one basket of logs inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Welcome basket provided of Prosecco, tea, coffee and milk. A beautiful cottage, right in the heart of Middleton in Teesdale. Nicely decorated with everything that we could have asked for. Had wondered whether the lack of off-street parking might be an issue but we were able to park right outside the cottage almost every time we went out. Booking was straigh...
