A beautiful period terrace house resting in the ancient market town of Barnard Castle, Stang View is a fantastic base for a trip to County Durham to explore the Durham Dales and the cobbled streets and back lanes of Barnard Castle.
Hosting two bedrooms and several receptions rooms, this spacious townhouse is suited perfectly to two couples or a small family looking to enjoy the delights of this historic settlement and the brilliant surrounding walking country.
Step into the lovely hallway and across the original period tiling to be welcomed into the stylish fitted kitchen, complete with all you need for cooking up some tasty meals, you can perch at the breakfast bar while the chef gets things going.
The sitting room lies at the front of the house and has a warming woodburning stove to enjoy as you relax on the sofa or armchair after an afternoon of walking, with a TV to entertain amidst the elegant decor.
Gather around for a meal together or an indulgent takeaway at the dining table to the back of the house, or take it outside to the enclosed garden on a summer evening, with furniture out here and storage for a pair of road bikes too.
