Enter the property to discover an attractive living/dining room with a feature cast iron fireplace containing the open fire, a pretty bay window where the dining table rests, so you can enjoy dinner with a lovely view, and a cosy L-shaped sofa, where you can relax with a good book or watching your favourite shows on the TV in the alcove.
Prepare meals in the contemporary, tiled kitchen, complete with electric oven and hob and convenient dishwasher, along with Belfast sink beneath the window, which overlooks the garden.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, a lovely double, neutrally styled in greys and whites, with a charming dressing table, as well as a single room, ideal for a child.
Both bedrooms are served by the all-white, tiled family bathroom, with a shower over bath, so you can choose how to prepare for each day.
Outside there is a small, south-facing, front patio with seating, where you can enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine, while roadside parking is available in the main square, a short walk away.
Middleham's market square, along with a host of amenities, pubs and eateries, are a short walk away from the property, as is its 12th century Norman castle, the childhood home of Richard III, while the market town of Leyburn is just over two miles away on the other side of the River Ure, offering more shops and dining out options.
Explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find the Forbidden Corner, a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and surprises set amidst four acres, along with a host of walking routes amidst scenic dales, valleys, high peaks and charming villages.
Explore the nearby Nidderdale AONB nature reserve, and enjoy miles of walking trails amidst rolling countryside and diverse wildlife, admiring attractions such as the National Trust's Brinham Rocks and Medieval Fountains Abbey, situated within 18th century gardens.
The spa town of Harrogate and the city of York are also within driving distance, as is the North York Moors National Park and heritage coastline.
