A beautiful and spacious stone built terraced house with unrivalled views of the village cricket field and south facing aspect, Spring Bank Cottage is at the heart of the thriving village of Hayfield, gateway to the High Peak.
Combining contemporary with traditional, this elegant and extremely comfortable home is a perfect base to explore the peak district and beyond.
Enjoy the views from each of the 4 storeys, or from the private garden; the house backs on to the village cricket field, the heart of the village, and there are wonderful views of the village and hills beyond. On match days, the garden is a great vantage point to view the cricket, you can even see the scoreboard without getting up from your seat! Stepping into the spacious hallway with separate cloakroom and WC, you will find the kitchen diner on your right where an afternoon snack will be awaiting your arrival. The kitchen is well equipped and adjacent to one of the main sitting rooms with dining table.
Move into the main sitting room and light up the open fire in winter months or relax on the balcony; no matter what time of year you visit, this room is the perfect place for everyone to gather for an evening of family time together, whether you are sank into the sofas or playing a board game at the dining table.
You have the option of a second sitting room at the garden level, this is a good spot to take time out, settle down with a good book, catch up on work or watch a DVD.
Seek comfort after a full day of fun in one of the four good sized bedrooms, choosing from a double with a Juliet balcony, a further double, a twin and a master suite with king sized bed and en suite at the top of the house. All have snug settings, comfortable beds and ample storage space.

Spring Bank Cottage is a wonderful mid-terrace resting within the village of Hayfield in the High Peak borough of Derbyshire. The dwelling hosts four bedrooms which include a double with a Juliet balcony, a further double, a twin and a second-floor king-size with an en-suite shower room, sleeping a total of eight guests. There is also a cloakroom, bathroom, kitchen/diner, lower-ground-floor utility, living/dining room with an open fire and a balcony and a lower-ground-floor snug. Outside you can find roadside parking and a rear enclosed garden with a patio and lawn, holding furniture and a barbecue. As a group of friends we have stayed in this lovely warm welcoming house for several years' running now - and there are always new places to eat nearby, more walking routes to explore and yet more to find out about Hayfield itself. Every time we leave we look forward to planning our next visit!

Having just returned from our 4th visit to Spring Bank Cottage we immediately booked for next year. A great house, superbly decorated with everything you need for a great hol. Our dogs loved the walks from virtually the doorstep, the house is cosy & warm following a day out and overlooks the cricket...

Six of us have been back to this property 5 times. It is a spacious, beautifully appointed, well stocked property in a lovely village. There are bars, restaurants, local shops and many great walks at hand. It is the perfect location. We never tire of this place! The owners are very helpful and approachable. I would highly recommend this place for an enjoyable break. You will not be disappointed!
