Rustle up an evening meal within the amply-equipped kitchen before sinking into the plush seating arrangement which rests in front of the TV and the woodburning stove, gently filling the room with warmth during the winter months.
The characterful charm continues within the bedrooms, which comprises of a double bedroom with its own en-suite and two additional double bedrooms to choose from.
A stone’s throw away from the cottage is a superb selection of pubs and restaurants which are certain to satisfy all tastes, as well as a number of shops for picking up the essentials.
Only a few minutes drive is the beautiful sandy beach at Skinningrove, which is dog-friendly throughout the year.
Also in Skinningrove is the Mining Museum and the KasKane cafe.

Old Stables Cottage is a characterful cottage resting within the village centre of Loftus. It comes with three bedrooms, comprising of a double with an en-suite and two additional doubles, together sleeping up to six people. There is also a ground-floor bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room, with kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is off-road parking for one car. Old Stables Cottage is an idyllic base for exploring this part of North Yorkshire.

Space was good, bedrooms good sized beds, and living areas were great for days chilling with family. Felt secure and able to relax. Beach nearby at Skinningrove was beautiful!
Parking was not available as listed, and listing needs some edits, dogs are allowed or not? Needs some child friendly tableware and less to break around the house... glass table at the top of the stairs was an accident waiting to happen.
