More recently Hamnet was shot on location just 12 miles from the Dutch barn in the village of Weobley. Perfectly situated to visit and explore the picturesque Tudor villages, towns and landscapes that helped bring this cinematic epic to life.
Boasting reverse-level accommodation, this converted barn offers a much-deserved break in an interesting part of the UK. Nudging the Welsh border, ideally situated for the Hay Festival in May and the Ludlow Food Festivals in May, August and September , this is a fabulous location for walking, cycling and outdoor adventure. On return from a day exploring, you have two wonderfully appointed bedrooms mirroring each other in terms of style and design. They both come with zip/link beds, perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements and fitted wardrobes to stow away your belongings safely. Enjoy a lie in each morning with a warming cup of tea before using the en-suite facilities to refresh you ready for the day ahead. In the evenings, when you want some down time with your loved ones, climb the staircase to the open-plan living room, which is bright and airy highlighting the quality furnishings. You can relax on the sofa in front of the wall-mounted TV or simply take in the beautiful views of the surrounding farmland and green countryside. The National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Croft Castle and Parkland are also well worth a visit, as is the Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum. Hereford is not to be missed with its stunning cathedral, home to its ancient chained library and famous Mappa Mundi. The Dutch Barn is a charming barn conversion situated on the outskirts of Leominster, in Herefordshire. This reverse-level accommodation boasts two ground-floor bedrooms, both super king-size doubles with zip/link beds, one with en-suite bathroom and the other an en-suite shower room, sleeping four people altogether. There is also a ground-floor cloakroom and a first-floor open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is a balcony and ample off-road parking. The Dutch Barn offers a varied break for you and your loved ones in an interesting part of the country.
