The owners have overseen a superb renovation of one of the oldest cottages in this historic village to provide sumptuous (a word we haven't used on a cottage before!) self catering accommodation in a location that overlooks the village church - a truly quintessential spot.
The kitchen is the real heart of the home: beautiful with high quality materials, and Aga and views across the enclosed garden.
The four bedrooms and three bathrooms are similarly stylish, spacious and gorgeous.

AGA (available in winter months) and oven, halogen oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 1 x TV with Humax freesat and HD recorder with over 200 channels, 1 x TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod Dock, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. On street parking. Note: The property requires a Good House Keeping Bond of £500 prior to booking. Note: Barbecues are not permitted at this property. Note: AGA is only available certain months of the year. One well behaved dog allowed. Please note the property is located in a rural dark village so if arriving at night, please take extra care. Once through the garden gate there is an outside light.
NOTE: This property has a £500 good housekeeping bond. This amount is automatically shadowed when the booking is made. If there is any damage caused during your stay that exceeds the £500 good housekeeping bond, please note that you will be held liable for the whole cost to replace / rectify damage.

Over occupancy and parties are strictly forbidden and breach of these terms will terminate the booking and you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. This is a neighbourhood watch area and neighbours control monitoring very loud noise and will inform us of this.

We had a special Christmas staying here with extended family,, thanks so much for putting up the Christmas tree and decorations, much appreciated! The house is wonderful, the heated floors with the AGA oven and the kitchen area made cooking a joy.
