Picture perfect Appletree Cottage is a semi-detached, thatched cottage set within the Dartmoor National Park, nestled beneath Haytor in the very pretty and peaceful hamlet of Higher Brimley. The rose filled cottage garden with its thatched summerhouse and apple trees include several seating areas to catch the morning and afternoon sun. Inside, the cottage is filled with character and period features, including thick cob walls, leaded windows, beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces housing two woodburning stoves. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a break with friends. Views over the garden from the window seats in the lounge are just lovely, and, in the very well-equipped kitchen there is a large farmhouse table for enjoying meals together. On the ground floor there is also a large sitting room, a cosy snug, the bathroom and WC. On the first floor are two comfortable double bedrooms,

Note: Within the cottage there is a steep staircase and the garden includes steps. Therefore the property is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Also on the ground floor, a cosy snug, and the family bathroom. On the first floor are two comfortable double bedrooms, one of which has a king-size bed. EV charging available. Note: For any holiday starting between 1st October and 1st May, a heating supplement of £40.00 will be added to the cost of your holiday.
Note: BBQs are not permitted due to the thatched roof. Short breaks are not available.
Due to the changes in level in the terraced garden, this cottage is not suitable for young children or those with limited mobility.
Parking at the rear of the property is accessed via a narrow lane.
