The Hayloft is comprised of a softly lit, open plan lounge/diner featuring open wood beams and high ceilings, where guests can enjoy intimate meals, sitting next to a large round window with exposed brickwork, looking out onto a cobbled and flowered courtyard. Guests can also cosy up in front of the TV to watch a movie, or relax listening to some music using the provided CD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with everything needed for self-catering and modern living. One double bedroom presented with warm and inviting decor offers couples a comfortable space to retire and rest.
The Hayloft opens out onto a cobbled and flowered yard, which is surrounded by impeccably maintained gardens adorned by lush foliage and offering outdoor seating with parasols. These shared gardens lead down to Lake Thirlmere which provides a dramatic and stunning backdrop of natural beauty.

We booked this first floor apartment a while ago and had not expected that I would be on crutches due to an ankle injury. However the stairs were not too many or too steep although some may find the cobbles a little tricky. We did have an initial problem with the hot water but helpful staff explaine...
