Bertelle is a wonderful, former post office, resting in the heart of Grimston, Norfolk.
Equally perfect for families or friends, this retreat makes a lovely base to return to, whether you are looking for somewhere to socialise or simply relax.
Decorated to a high standard, you can make yourselves right at home amongst the heart-warming furnishings and cosy ambience, which flows throughout the whole interior.
The living/dining room is centred by a characterful fireplace (not for use), one side of the layout holds a beautiful, plush corner sofa, where you can unwind after a day full of exploration, whilst the other houses a spacious dining table.
The kitchen is wonderfully designed with neutral-coloured units, a stunning stone feature wall and a contemporary overtone to complement the sophisticated feel of the property, an idyllic place to whip up culinary creations for the whole family! When it comes to a good night's sleep, choose from two bedrooms; the first is presented as a super-king-size with a zip/link option, whilst the second is home to a king-size bed; both are serviced by a sleek bathroom.
Views of the countryside bring a glimpse of the outside in, providing a lovely outlook to wake up to.
After readying yourself for the afternoon, why not join your friends for a barbecue, or enjoy a refreshing moment or two on the outdoor furniture? A 15 minute walk away is The Three Horseshoes pub which does serve food.
For keen ramblers there are a whole host of walking routes encompassing the property offering endless opportunities to admire the picturesque countryside, breath-taking coast and the wildlife residing in it.
In addition, bird watchers have a selection of attractions to choose from, with the Snettisham and Titchwell RSPB reserves only a short drive away.
Those looking to experience the coast will find Snettisham and Heacham beach, both famed for their spectacular sunsets nearby as well as Old Hunstanton beach which is backed by impressive cliffs and is renowned for its vast amounts of sand during low tide.

The living areas in this holiday home consist of a kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a utility room with washing machine and living/dining room with TV and dining table for four. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin) and a king-size serviced by a bathroom. To the outside is off road parking for one car, and an enclosed courtyard with furniture and a barbecue. Within 0.1 miles there is both a shop and pub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Explore all Norfolk has to offer from Bertelle. Note: This property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues as the stairs are quite steep. My brother and I spent the first week in April here, we have a week away together each year. This is excellent value for money. Accommodation is great, warm and cosy.
