Fern House is a simply wonderful, Grade II listed cottage in the quaint country village of Leintwardine in Herefordshire.

Enter this one-of-a-kind, olde worlde cottage and be enticed by its snug sitting room, dominated by wooden beams and a tremendous stone fireplace housing a woodburning stove, what better place to kick back and unwind? Step through into a gorgeous, country-cottage style kitchen/diner, graced with rustic features including quarry tile flooring, wooden furnishings and a fabulous AGA cooker.
A modern shower room beautifully contrasts with the rest of the interior, boasting a double walk-in shower and stunning metro tiles.
A traditionally steep staircase brings you to the first floor, benefiting from original wooden floorboards, up here you will discover two wonderful double bedrooms enhanced by wooden beams, perfectly peaceful spots to catch that much-needed rest.
The beauty of Fern House flows out to its tranquil patio garden, splendidly maintained and with home-grown herbs available to spruce up your meals.
The village of Leintwardine is a lovely, quiet spot to base your holiday, offering a couple of pubs, a fish and chip shop and a convenience store.
This area is excellent for walking, as the Herefordshire Trail and the Shropshire Way run nearby.
The fabulous market town of Ludlow also comes nearby and is well worth a look around, presenting over 500 listed buildings and a striking castle.

Fern House is a listed cottage in the Herefordshire village of Leintwardine. It offers two double bedrooms and a shower room, the property can sleep three or four people. The interior also contains a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is roadside parking to the front of the property as well as a rear enclosed patio with furniture. Fern Cottage is a quirky and unique hideaway in a fabulous location for exploring countryside and fascinating towns and villages. This property only allows bookings starting on a Monday or a Friday.

Note: There are steep stairs in the property, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Just returned from a fantastic time at Fern cottage. What a beautiful cottage it had a lovely homely atmosphere ,tasteful decor and quaint features . A lovely cottage garden which was great to relax in after a days sightseeing. The welcome basket was a nice touch .thank you .
