A charming stone terrace cottage, located in the heart of the village of Hartington, a stone's throw from Dove Valley in the glorious Peak District.
A lovely garden sits at the front of the house, overlooking the marketplace, with a few pubs located right on the doorstep.
This is the ideal spot for families and friends who wish to spend time together in one of the most pleasant villages in the area.
The cottage is set over three floors with very traditional, vintage characteristics.
There are three cosy bedrooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms, one of the second floor bedrooms also has a dressing room.
The twin room is on the third floor with light streaming in from the skylight above.
Head to the dining area where an old Rangemaster is on display, leading to the fully-equipped kitchen area and outside to the delightful back garden.
Relax on the comfy sofa in the sitting room and light the stove during the colder months, or simply look out onto the front lawn and local market.
The beautiful village of Hartington offers some of the very best walking trails to be explored.
Just South of Hartington is Wolfscote Hill, a great spot for picturesque countryside views.
About seven miles away is Hadden Hall, a medieval and Tudor manor house and a popular location choice for various film and TV broadcasts, complete with a restaurant and gift shop.

Ivy Cottage is a stone terrace in the heart of the village of Hartington in the Peak District National Park. It has three en-suite bedrooms which include two king size and one twin, it can sleep six people. The accommodation also includes a kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is road parking, a front and rear garden and patio furniture. Ivy Cottage is a pleasant, homely retreat in a superb location.
Please note that, although the garden belongs to Ivy Cottage, the neighbours do have access through the gate just for the bins which are kept in the garden.

Ivy cottage gave us the perfect base for exploring Dove Dale and the surrounding area. The cottage was ideal for us with every home comfort, each bedroom having an ensuite and a lovely little garden to sit outside. The cottage is at the heart of the village, ideal for enjoying village life including the two pubs and the small shops.
