Across the road from the apartment is the local high street with shops, pubs, chemist and other amenities.Opposite the Castle is the Durham Dales visitor centre where leaflets can be obtained for days out. The open-plan living area has been tastefully styled with a charming lounge and a characterful dining area, set-up for six people. This property has three bedrooms with the master having its own en-suite. The large family bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower. This property boasts its own private hot tub area, seating area and childrens play area with extensive lawn which is private to Knights Corner guests. Had a fabulous week in Stanhope staying at Knights Corner. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub is so good and the bathrobes provided were a lovely touch. Beautiful views from the enormous garden and a stone's throw from the wonderful local shops and the Dales Centre. We felt very welcomed in the village and will definitely return.

Wonderful xmas touches on arrival. 7 night stay in a fabulous apartment every appliance and cutlery provided for cooking our xmas dinner. Nothing was too much trouble when contacting owner. Grandchildren loved it and all set in a wonderful village. Perfect Christmas
