As well as the double upstairs, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, with the option of being zipped into super king-size doubles, or unzipped into twin beds, plus a family bathroom.
The open plan living space, where you can find the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, has a warming woodburner and wide double doors opening into the fenced, lawned garden, where you can enjoy dinner in the summer.
There is lots to do nearby, including wonderful walks from the doorstep, making this lovely cottage a fabulous base for a family holiday or a getaway with friends.

The other two bedrooms downstairs have the zip/link option of being made into super king-size doubles or twins, and there is also a family bathroom and an open plan living space, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner and large double doors opening directly into the garden. The garden is lawned and fenced, with furniture. Beyond the garden is an enclosed paddock with sheep that may come over to say hello, and there is also off road parking and many walks nearby, making Poppy Cottage a lovely little country retreat. Please note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome.
