From here, step into the separate dining room, where you can gather around the table for hearty meals and lively conversation, all while admiring the quaint and characterful décor.
Furnished in a traditional style, the room includes distinctive touches such as lamps crafted from decommissioned rifles and a cabinet displaying a mannequin in Highland Dress known as Leftenant Mitchell.

The large kitchen, with its lovely flagstone floor and AGA Range cooker, is part of a sociable open-plan space that includes lounge seating and a dining area, along with a wall-mounted TV.
Packed with thoughtful amenities, the kitchen invites you to store treats in the American-style fridge freezer, cool down with a drink from the built-in water cooler, or prepare a feast with ease.
Two additional fridges and freezers in the utility room ensure there’s space for everything, whether you're cooking for a crowd or just enjoying a quiet breakfast.
Just off the kitchen, the garden room offers open views across the garden to the Sma' Glen and hills beyond.
Bathed in natural light, this tranquil spot is perfect for a quiet morning coffee, where you can watch the flurry of garden birds through the large windows, enhanced by a high-quality scope thoughtfully provided for guests.
Outside, a bespoke-built Doocot is home to white pigeons that come and go freely, adding to the charm of the garden, which can also be admired from the sun room and fire pit area.
As evening falls, gather around the firepit with a glass in hand, where a tripod-hanging hot plate lets you griddle or barbecue under the open sky.
Fixed bench seating on either side invites long conversations, while a clear glass windbreak offers shelter from the breeze without interrupting the view.
The surrounding fields are actively farmed with sheep and cattle, adding to the authentic rural setting of this exceptional property.
Explore all your surroundings have to offer, a hidden gem for enthusiasts and families alike, the Scottish Model Engineering Trust (SMET) invites visitors to explore intricate miniature railways, working steam engines, and beautifully crafted models that bring engineering to life in the heart of the Highlands.
