Post Box Cottage is a lovely semi-detached cottage situated in the village of Staithes just ten miles from Whitby in Yorkshire. The cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom and two single as well as a family bathroom and separate cloakroom. Great little cottage. We had a lovely 2 weeks. The hosts were friendly with welcome gifts on arrival. Our only criticism is the TV. The sound is awful. WiFi is very good so why not upgrade to a bigger smart TV with Netflix & Prime. Also we found the double bed mattress very uncomfortable. So didn’t...

Just back from week staying in this lovely cottage. Nice welcome gift and very friendly owners. Nice walks from cottage some with steep hills. Very near to Staithes and good connections to whitby and Scarborough and Yorkshire coast. Sandwiches cakes and drinks can be obtained from lainey across road beautiful and very reasonable. A very relaxing place to stay.
